Mr D. needed to borrow £1.25 million to help purchase his dream property on the continent. His mortgage lender was unable to provide help within the timescale required. We were given a deadline of eight working days to complete the transaction, otherwise the property purchase would fall through. Despite the applicant being abroad on business for most of the transaction, we pulled out all the stops to ensure the loan completed before the deadline expired, at an interest rate 2% lower than available elsewhere. Mr D. subsequently arranged a re-mortgage of his London investment property to repay the loan in full.
